EPIC shortlisted for Positive Social Impact Award as part of the Lloyds Bank National Business Awards 2018.
From EPIC’s conception to date, social responsibility has been centred at our core; through education and training, policy development and review, executive support, risk management and internal audit and forensic investigations, we are committed to improving lives by targeting the destructive impact of problem gambling.
We are therefore delighted to be shortlisted in the Positive Social Impact category in the 2018 Lloyds Bank National Business Awards.
Previously dubbed ‘the Oscars of great British business’ by former PM David Cameron, the Lloyds Bank Business Awards seek to celebrate and reward true excellence in business, bringing together the UK’s leading business figures. The Positive Social Impact award recognises organisations that, through partnership, investment, pro-bono work or employee-led initiatives, have achieved meaningful and sustainable social impact.
Founder and CEO Paul Buck described being shortlisted for this award as ‘a fantastic accolade for EPIC’, a sentiment echoed across the team.
The Lloyds Bank Business Award Brand Director Sarah Austin explained: ‘All entries faced a rigorous judging process, which is why the awards are an accolade to true, world-class achievements, offering businesses the credibility and encouragement to continue in their ambitious success. Due to the high-level of competition witnessed this year, all finalists should feel incredibly proud’
We look forward to the next stage and would like to extend a thank you to all those that have played a part in making this happen.
