To attract and develop great people we also need great managers and this role will be crucial in developing our position in the RET market as part of the new National Gambling Strategy and with clients across the highest risk sectors for gambling harms.

Purpose of Job

This is a senior, key position within the business, working closely with the CEO and senior stakeholders to ensure all parts of the business are maintained and grow. This person will be a conduit between the CEO and other members of the team. We want this person to oversee and supervise the quality of service and delivery that EPIC is now known for with high profile clients.

The position will involve the following areas of responsibility:

  • Ensure all operations are carried out in appropriate, cost effective way
  • Examine financial data and use them to improve profitability and report professionally through to the CEO and board
  • Demonstrable experience developing, and delivering on, a strategic plan
  • Demonstrable knowledge of professional governance frameworks
  • Improve operational management systems, processes and best practices
  • Motivate and supervise the team to produce great results
  • Work flexibly within the business
  • Devise strategies that meet the needs of the customer
  • Exceptional organisation and prioritisation skills with the ability to manage a high volume of tasks.
  • People management, and/or coaching skills /training facilitation
  • Ability to interface professionally and effectively with regulators, legal advisors & external companies

Essential Skills

  • Minimum of 3 – 5 years’ experience in an Operations Management role or similar
  • Critical thinking skills and problem-solving abilities
  • Deadline orientated with unbelievable work ethic
  • Exceptional communication skills and experience working with high profile clients
  • Superb IT and presentation skills across Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher
  • People management, and/or coaching skills /training facilitation
  • Ability to interface professionally and effectively with regulators, legal advisors & external companies
