EPIC Risk Management is delighted to be exhibiting at the SBC Betting on Sports Europe – Digital which will take place for two days on Wednesday 21st October and Thursday 22nd October.
As part of the exhibit, EPIC Risk Management will be hosting a panel on Thursday from 10.30 am -11.10 am looking at the links between Sports Betting Integrity and Problem Gambling. EPIC Risk Management’s Head of US Delivery Mark Potter will be hosting alongside Michelle Evans (Head of Communications and Wellbeing - PFA Scotland), Scott Davies (Lead Pro Sport Facilitator - EPIC Risk Management), and Lee Calverley (Sports Integrity Lead - GVC Holdings).
EPIC Risk Management’s Mark Potter: “Historically sports betting integrity and problem gambling have been treated as separate issues with different processes of education, treatment, and regulation. Innovative harm minimisation programmes across Europe and the World are demonstrating a strong link between the two and should they be treated as combined threats to sport in the future. We are going to delve into this subject with the help of a panel who can bring their expertise and experience on the subject from their respective fields. We’re delighted to be involved.”
The Betting on Sports Europe – Digital is the foremost conference for senior executives from European sports betting operators, providing a forum for high-level discussions that will help to shape the future of the industry.
